Mains Pressure Cylinders
We install all makes of mains pressure cylinder to keep your home full of hot water. Most manufacturers have similar guarantees with 25 years on the cylinder and two years on the internal components. Our team will take care of registering your warranty, providing aftercare and reminding you about annual servicing.

Did you know that it is a legal requirement for plumbers and gas engineers to have a G3 qualification, also known as an Unvented Hot Water qualification if they want to install unvented hot water cylinders? Having trained and achieved the G3 qualification  engineers will be covered in the following areas in accordance with the relevant regulations:

  • Vented and unvented systems and their operating principles
  • Design and installation
  • Maintenance and compliance with Building Regulations

The course is then required to be completed every five years. This ensures the engineer’s competence in providing a safe and professional service for their customers. It also means Christy Plumbing & Heating can register your appliance with your local authority and the Gas Safe register to ensure you receive the relevant certification required, should you ever sell your home.
