I have recently used Christie to fix a drain blockage problem. Initially thought to be a small problem, but turned out to be a much bigger problem that involved lifting 3 drain covers. I was impressed by the “determined to fix approach adopted by Mason, who works for Christie. The problem was fixed to my complete satisfaction and relief!

Came out within two hours after our shower pump sprang a leak. They provided us with a spare pump, which is sufficient to tie us over as we’ve decided to upgrade our system to high pressure in the next few weeks, which will eliminate the need for a pump. We will be using Christie’s for this job, also. A pleasure to deal with.

Christy Plumbing supplied and installed a mixer tap to replace one (brought from a well-known online supply firm, which repeatedly failed due to poor quality). This was in the kitchen. The tap supplied has a much better and more solid feeling to the unit. The installation was handled well by the plumber. Let’s just say that the old one was a bit stubborn and did not want to let go! However, he resolved the problem and the new unit was fitted quickly and simply. All in all, a good job well done.

Lawrence visited recently to look at a faulty shower unit. He confirmed a new unit was needed. He also inspected the hot water tank in my loft and identified that some remedial work was required. Lawrence was extremely helpful and explained the process to me, which put my mind at rest. After accepting the estimate, a plumber arrived to undertake the work. He was polite and helpful and completed the job quickly and efficiently. He tidied everything up so that you wouldn’t have known he had been here. I am very impressed with the company. Absolutely first-rate service. I came home from a business trip to find my hot water cylinder leaking, and Christy’s were happy to drop in the same day to perform an initial diagnosis and remediation to prevent further leakage. We were then able to schedule the actual repair, which happened very promptly. I was kept up-to-date at all times about the schedule, and the cause and the fix were explained. Recently had several basin and bath taps replaced by Christy Plumbing & Heating. The whole process from quotation through to installation was very easy and extremely professional. On the day of the installation, the plumbers arrived as arranged and replaced all taps without any problems at all, giving advance warning when the mains water had to be turned off. We were visiting an elderly relative when we discovered a leak in the kitchen. Lawrence arrived within 3 hours, identified the issue, and it was resolved quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Christy’s Plumbing & Heating. They are professional experience is endless. I have known Lawrence for 20 years + and wouldn’t use anyone else. They installed a pressurised cylinder in my new home and did an amazing job. We were here all day, and Lawrence came back the following day to connect it to my electrics. I now have better water pressure and more hot water. Also, a very quiet shower. Everything I was promised happened. Mason and Harry were both so lovely, kind and friendly and were very professional.
